Who We Are
Wateredge Construction started in 1988 and is a family owned, design-build contracting company with over thirty years of experience in the construction and remodeling industries. We offer a broad range of home renovation and remodel services including kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, additions, sun rooms, screened porches, garages, and outdoor spaces. We have taken entire homes to their bones and remodeled them from the inside out. The design-build approach puts full accountability in our hands and assures good communication between our clients and us. The satisfaction we gain from our work comes from always demonstrating the highest quality craftsmanship while achieving our client’s goals.
Wateredge Construction, Inc. possesses a State of Virginia Class A contractor license. This is the highest level of classification offered in the state of Virginia and allows us to perform construction-related work with no cap on contract amount.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Wateredge has been recognized as a top level builder by experts in the remodeling industry. Namely, Remodeling Magazine chose Wateredge to be among its elite big 50 – a select group of remodelers chosen from companies across the United States. Remodeling showcases the Big 50 as “exemplary companies the demonstrate the best business practices in the industry, measured against their highest-quality competitors.”
In our region we were voted Contractor of the Year by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Our whole-house remodeling project was judged superior among our peers.
Our work has been featured in Richmond Magazine, Virginia Living Magazine, and the Richmond Times Dispatch. Our clients have proudly shown our work on the Fan Holiday Tour, The Fan Woman’s Association Spring Tour, and the MS Society’s Charity Kitchen Tour.
Wateredge Construction was voted Richmond’s Best Home Remodeling Company in 2017 by Richmond Times Dispatch’s “The Best” competition.
